Creative Thinking Group specializes in tech support by designing IT solutions for individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs. With over thirty years in the computer industry, owner Noelle DeAtley’s love of technology has never waned. “I combined my love of technology with my desire to help others and created a business.”
Always that geek in the office who would fix the machines or figure out someone’s computer issue, Noelle shares some of that girl power with Holly Riley of the Blonde Byte. Together, they offer workshops akin to old-school Tupperware parties to empower women in the digital age.
Creative Thinking Group offers a broad range of tech support packages and experiences. Clients range in size from small and seasonal businesses to employees of Fortune 500 companies working in a variety of settings.
What’s a tip Noelle drives home to anyone who will ask? Besides be nice and help others, it’s backing up your work. There are cloud options and external hard drives available, but it’s an absolute must. Other seemingly no-brainer advice? “Check the power source!” Make sure that bad boy’s plugged in!
A second-generation Mexican‑American from Texas, Noelle landed in Charlotte’s east side over a decade ago via several states and zip codes. “This is the longest I’ve ever been in one place,” she said. “Friends used to write my address in pencil.”
But she’s solidly entrenched in the Queen City now. An active participant in several chambers and business committees, she’s been recognized for her volunteer work and urges others to “show up.” With developers snatching up property willy nilly, she holds land owners closest to the fire, urging them to reinvest in what they already have. Her view? Don’t abandon the east side. Own it!
