Bill Franklin wants to make things perfectly clear: with over twenty‑five years of business coaching under his belt, he’s up to the task. As the managing partner at MindSet, he works with business owners, principals, and company leaders to create stronger teams.
“I help bring clarity back into the organization, so they can focus on the most important thing—driving the results that they want,” he said. Drifting apart and losing focus is only natural.
His approach for optimum productivity in the workplace includes an array of team-building models to align goals and actions with personal values. He’s certified in emotional intelligence, DiSC Profiles, and the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, to name a few.
“It’s real simple. I don’t deviate, but we go very deep,” stated the Mint Hill resident.
After looking in South Charlotte, the Franklins chose the east side for some breathing room. The transplanted northeasterners had seen enough rampant development and traffic woes to recognize their preference.
Amenities abound in their community. Bill enjoys dining in downtown Matthews, particularly Santé Restaurant and Ming Fu. He enjoys being essentially fifteen to twenty minutes away from most Charlotte hot spots, rush‑hour traffic notwithstanding.
“Schizophrenic” is a term Bill jokingly uses to describe Charlotte and its growing corners. “Charlotte views itself as a big city, but it has small-town values,” mused a man with focus in his DNA. Those two aims can be conflicting. “It doesn’t always know what it wants to be.”
His involvement in the local chambers and his neighborhood provide a good, balanced work and home life. “That’s one of the things my wife and I were looking for when we moved down here, and I feel that we’ve found it.”
